Does anybody know this songwriter?

Hello, I have a been operating my recording studio, Rough Wood Studio in Weatherford, for almost 15 years. Some time back a songwriter recorded a demo that could easily play on radio. Somehow I have no record of who he is. But I've played the song for several artist who want to record it. Hoping someone here will recognize it and help me find the answer to this mystery.
It's about "Young lovers - Jack and Savannah" trying to get out of a small town by stealing a car and robbing a store.
The chorus says, "Jack don't tremble - Hold the gun straight - Look em' in the eye - Don't you look away"
A snippet of the song is on the website; roughwoodstudio.com on the "Examples" page. Forward to 4:06 to hear it.
Or I can send an .mp3 to anyone who may be able to help.
